Sleep & Pain

Sleep quality (0–10) iSubjective sleep quality for the prior night. 0 = worst, 10 = best.

Pain — morning (0–10) iBaseline pain level. Recorded separately for morning and evening.

Burnout

Burnout level (0–9) iChronic depletion level for the day, behaviorally anchored — not felt-sense. 0 is aspirational/not yet observed; 9 is the fixed reference point (1997, total functional shutdown).

0 — No compensatory behavior required anywhere.
1 — Masking/task-switching cost unnoticeable; full voluntary engagement in discretionary activity.
2 — Beginning to skip discretionary activity without registering it as a decision.
3 — Consciously declining/deferring ≥1 normal activity per day; masking requires conscious effort in ≥1 setting.
4 — Recovery time after ordinary demands visibly lengthened; normally-tolerable sensory environments now require mitigation.
5 — Isolating beyond preference, as strategy; low-stakes skill lapses occur but self-correct at normal speed.
6 — Masking sustained only where unavoidable; discretionary social/communication contact actively curtailed; recovery from one demanding task bleeds into the next day.
7 — Errors in practiced tasks take measurably longer to notice/recover from than usual (not more frequent); functional windows shrinking below what standing responsibilities require.
8 — Override sustains only essential function; non-essential responsibilities actively shed, not just deferred; visible to others without self-report.
9 — Total functional shutdown. Fixed reference point.

Mood

Primary mood (−10 to 10) iOverall daily mood, signed scale. Negative values (−10 to −1) are depressive severity — more negative is more severe. Positive values (+1 to +10) are elevated mood; use the Happy/Irritable toggles below to indicate character. This is a composite daily figure and doesn't by itself indicate cause — read alongside Trigger, Crash, and Recovery for context.

Secondary mood (−10 to 10) iMixed episodes (co-occurring depressive and elevated features) are recorded as two values — this is the second one, alongside Primary mood above.

Activation Cost

Physical (1–5) iActivation cost of the day's demands, independent of any masking event — the cost to begin a task, not the net toll of doing it. 1 = low, 5 = high.

Emotional (1–5) iEmotional activation cost of the day's demands. 1 = low, 5 = high.

Meltdown / Shutdown

Shutdown count

iMarks that the day was spent recovering from a prior meltdown, shutdown, or burnout event — not a measure of how well recovery went. A flag that the day's other numbers should be read in the context of prior-event fallout.

Crash

Crash — fatigue (0–3) iReaction following a masking event where the mask held (didn't resolve into a meltdown or shutdown — those are recorded separately). 0 = none, 3 = severe. Leave blank if no applicable event occurred, or if it resolved into a meltdown/shutdown instead.

Crash — mood (0–3) iMood disruption following a masking event where the mask held. 0 = none, 3 = severe.

Triggers

Trigger event iFlags a demand event that deviated from the normal day (ordinary routine, including ordinary time with immediate family, isn't logged).

Up to two events may be logged per day, worst first, if multiple distinct events occurred.
